Key facts
Wheel: 37 pockets (1 to 36 plus a single zero). House edge: 2.7% on every bet, so the RTP is 97.3%. Available as RNG games and at live dealer tables.
How to play
Place chips on numbers or groups of numbers, then the ball is spun. A straight-up number pays 35 to 1, a split 17 to 1, a street 11 to 1, a corner 8 to 1, a dozen or column 2 to 1, and red/black, odd/even or high/low pay 1 to 1.
What makes it different
The single zero is what matters: an American wheel adds a double zero and almost doubles the house edge. All bets on a European wheel carry the same 2.7% edge.
Our tips
Always pick a European (or French) wheel over an American one. No betting system changes the house edge, so set a budget before you sit down.
